Welcome to Nolachucky Disaster Relief. We're glad you're here.

Donations for Gatlinburg & Sevier County -  The great need is now financial to aid the victims and the relief effort. Your support of our Disaster Relief efforts is greatly appreciated and needed.
 

Financial donations may be made to Nolachucky Baptist Association designated for Disaster Relief.  These financial donations should be brought to our office at 304 Calvary Drive or mailed to us at PO Box 326, Morristown, TN 37815.

 

If you have had Introduction to Disaster Relief and / or any specialized classes, and your class certification has expired or will expire in the coming year, please take the opportunity and get re-certified, so that you may be able to serve when a disaster occurs.

CHEROKEE HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH

Please go to www.tndisasterrelief.org to download, complete, and print the appropriate registration forms (new volunteers or existing volunteers). Then bring the forms along with your $36 administration fee per new volunteer with you to the registration tables at the training.  (This speeds the registration process as there are multiple forms to be completed.) 

Contact the Nolachucky Baptist Association at (423) 586-7331 if you plan to attend so that adequate materials will be available at the training.

Who We Are:

We are a group of volunteers seeking to fulfill the mission of Christ our Lord by caring for those around us by meeting their immediate physical needs and sharing how they can find peace with their Creator by responding to God's offer of salvation and eternal life found only in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

How Can I Get Involved

There are numerous opportunities and needs in Disaster Relief ministries. Opportunities in the field include tasks such as:

  • Chainsaw Recovery
  • Flood Recovery
  • Mass Feeding
  • Childcare
  • Communications
  • Organization and Distribution of donated items

Opportunities on the home-front include:

  • prayer

  • equipment preparation
  • training
  • organization of supplies
  • prayer
  • communication
